Cesc Fabregas advise Robin van Persie to stay at Arsenal

Barcelona - Cesc Fabregas have a suggestion for Robin van Persie. Barcelonamidfielder is hoping Van Persie remain at Arsenal and helped the Gunners win the title.

Van Persie future continues to be a subject of speculation since the player's contract atArsenal will be out next year. Negotiating a new deal reportedly ongoing, but no signs of agreement has been reached.

If Van Persie did not sign a new contract, several clubs rumored to be ready to hijackthe Dutchman. Barca and Manchester City was mentioned in the list of applicants.

Last year, Fabregas decided to leave the Emirates Stadium and joined Barca to win thetrophy. However, he hopes Van Persie was not followed his lead.

"As an Arsenal fan I would be happy if he stayed in London to help Arsenal win thetitle," he said at Soccernet.

During the play for Arsenal, Van Persie picked up two new trophy, the 2004 CommunityShield and FA Cup 2005.
